Not worth the money. Get a bigger alternator and battery.
The cap stores a little bit of energy. When your amp draws a whole lot of power the voltage at the amp starts to drop because A. the battery/alternator cant supply any more power and B. there is a voltage drop between the battery and the amp, depending on how far it is from the battery to the amp. The way a cap works is to release its energy when the internal voltage is greater then the voltage from the battery. And then as the high power demand passes the voltage from the battery recovers and recharges the cap. Old school amps saw more of a benefit from using a cap, but not todays amps.
