the brains of the operation
I have a 2001 gs-r.
I posted a thread a while ago about how to disarm my alarm. Well, I've located the "brain" and I don't know where to go from there. If I remember correctly, there are two harnesses hooked to the brain. Do I just unplug the harnesses and pull the brain to have the alarm system completely out? Or, are those harnesses, that were connected to the brain, apart of the alarm system and have to come out as well?
I wan't this thing gone, help me out please.

What kind of alarm is it?
Most likely you will have to trace all the wires from those harnesses back to where they are connected to the vehicle's wiring and remove them. If the alarm has a starter kill you will need to reconnect the starter wire to itself afterwards.

More info = better help. Stock or after market?
Have you tried just unplugging the brain to see what happens, most "kills", starter cut, ignition kill and so on use NC, [normally closed] relays and alarm must be triggered for the relays to "open" and break the circuit.
Unplug the brain and see it car starts and runs properly.
If the alarm is an aftermarket unit it is best to remove all the wiring for it, follow wiring from plugs to where they are connected to the cars wiring and disconnect, repair and insulate the stock wiring where needed.
If the alarm is a stock alarm the wiring will be part of the stock harness and will be left in car.94
