i have two alpine type R's 6x9 in the rear being run by a 4 ch amp. well the bass wasn't as i expected. I'm not planning in getting a sub anytime soon, but i was wondering if i put them in boxes instead of the rear deck will i notice any difference. also should i buy the expensive Q-logic boxes that Cicuit city sell or cheap eBay ones? thanks.

 

i have 2 6*9 enclosures lying around bought new but only used for 6*9 in my bedroom 40 shipped if you want them

The small 6x9 boxes will give you even less bass than you have now.

they came loaded with pioneer 6*9 . they are pioneer but no where can you tell. i am located in panama city florida.

 

i'd say sell the 6x9s and just use your front speakers. what kind of front speakers do you have and what amp are you using?
