Default box plans

anyone have plans on how to build this box.

From what I heard most people that compete use this box style so im thinking of making one to house to 10" kappa perfects. Any help will do. I dont know nothing about this box style. I heard about it from a friend.

Thanks for the help in advance.

I know its pretty much a sealed box with another box that is ported. But i just want some help from people thats been in the field longer then i have

These can be fairly small enclosures, though larger than a sealed enclosure. They offer great power handling, good low frequency response, but are not as efficient as vented enclosures (top of this page), and are more complex to build. However, when built correctly, these make excellent enclosures and are often used by competitors. This is often referred to as a fifth order enclosure, but it's not. The addition of a crossover makes it a fifth order system.

That's news to me also, I know of no one competing that uses any kind of band-pass box, [or I should say, anybody that is competitive anyway] 94

Atleast not anymore. This design is common or was common with sedans...to get a great bass impact into the vehicle. THe port was routed into the cabin through the 'ski hole' or the rear deck (cut). This design is still in use though...mainly for street beating...I have witness a few caprices and avalanches with this type of box
design.

Hope this sheds some light on it.

Thank you man. Do you think it would do good in a coupe. Im not looking to cut the rear deck its just going to be 2 subs pointing at each other in a bandpass box. thats the easiest way to put it.
