big three/starter cable question
Im doing the big three upgrade on my 88 crx. Ive run a 4ga wire from the 170 amp HO alt to the underhood fuse box and I am going to run a 4ga wire to ground the batt and the engine. my positive battery terminal has two 4ga outputs and two 8 gauge. I need one of the 4 gauge outputs to go to the underhood fuse box and the other to go to the amp. Im only left with the two 8ga for the starter. should i just run two 8 ga wires to the starter or will one be fine? Also, will this set up work ok? thanks
Run the 4ga from the alt. directly to the batt. then run an 8ga from the batt. to the fuse box, your cars electrical does not need a 4ga between the batt. and fuse box.
