Default Re: Best Security SETUP?

A good brand name alarm, a proper install with a back-up batt. [stealth or at least semi stealth install] and at least one redundant kill switch, [a kill switch not controlled by the alarm].
I actually have 3 "kills" on my car, one is the starter kill, [normally open] controlled by alarm, one is a simple, [hidden] on off switch, ["kills the PGM-FI Main Relay] the last one is a latching relay with phantom switch for latching and it passively de-latches, [turns off automatically each time I turn off the ign.]

Type of alarm will depend on a number of things, a 2way alarm has the advantage of notifying you if you can not hear the siren, but only if you are within range, adding GPS location will add the ability to notify you no matter where you are and the ability to locate the car. 94
