hellp locked out
hey i lost my car keys which have my alarm remote in it too well i have a spare key and no remote. what can i do. this alarm is made by the company "micro" never heard of them the car already had one. i do have a funny red button by my hood release switch guessing it has to do with the alarm
ok, try this, get in the car, and push and hold that red button till the alarm goes off, because that button should be a kill switch for the alarm when something like this happens....
if that IS indeed your valet switch.. then insert your spare key (which you really shouldnt leave in your car.. prolly bettah to keep in your wallet or something so that a thief that breaks into your car cant find it)...
anyway insert your spare.. turn it ignition to ON position while the alarm is going off i suppose.. then press and hold the valet switch.. and the alarm SHOULD go off.. unless you have an alarm like mine (Clifford) w/ a coded valet.. where you have to press the buttons a series of times to enter a numeric "code' then i dont kno.. cuz only you or your installer knows your code...
but if its just a normal alarm set up and that is your valet switch.. then this method should work to shut it off..
