Besides dynomat......
So I am not looking for some major sound deading material, just somthing to line my trunk floor to quite down suspension and exhaust. May do the doors wile im at it.
My question is, is there anything that is cheaper than dynomat that dosn't weigh to much ?? Any sites to check out, with brand names would help me out.
Thanks Guys!

Seriously, this topic has been beat to death around here....the horse is not only dead, it's now paste!
search the archives for dynamat and you will find all the info you need.

expanding foam works great for sound deadening. Costs about 6 bucks per canister and can cover quite a bit. I did my doors and hatch in my gutted rex and it cut the noise down a lot and saved a **** load of money
Roxul Safe and Sound is a residential/commercial sound deadening product that is installed in walls. It works great when stuffed very firmly between body/trim panels in your car. You can find it at some hardware stores or specialty insulation places. Keep it dry as it will soak up water and hold it, possibly causing rust.
Other than that, I doubt you'll beat Dynamat's (Extreme) sound deadening properties by weight.

Stinger makes a sound deadener called road kill, much like dynomat but lighter. I had it in my last car, worked well, no more "body in the trunk" noises...pricey though.

I thought about doing this too and i wondered about the moisture part of it. I'm thinking about putting it in a plastic bag or a big contractors garbage bag. you think that would work?
