Default sound deadner

I drive 90% on the highway and am looking to really eliminate all road noise in my 94LX. I've got all the doors covered with dynamat, and am going to do the floor, firewall, inner fenderwells and roof but was wondering, should I remove the factory sound deadner before I put down the dynamat or just cover over it?

well first of all, your gonna pack on alot of pounds. Its like eating a pound of pure fat. You would want to put it on before the factory, wait why keep factory deadner for when you putting dynamat. I think the dynamat should do fine alone.

look into second skin luxury liner. or impregnated vinyl liner. less weight. and it makes silence. like a lexus/audi/benz.
