I'm about to fly home for 3 weeks for X-mas. I live in AZ so naturally I'm worried about my car getting jacked when I'm gone.
It will be parked in the driveway for the duration. All I have is a python 700 and 4 other people living at the house in and out at all hours.
What should I do to prevent it from being stolen while I'm gone?
Remove ecu? Add a killswitch? etc?

keep it blocked in at all times, put it in the garage if possiable. My homie drops his motor when ever he leaves out of town. or puts it in my garage. Do you have any friends with one. If no one is home. There is no one to respond to your alarm.
Unless you can block it in the driveway somehow (in back of other cars or something), there's no 100% sure way...
You could definitely remove the ECU, pull the main relay, remove the battery, etc...
But if someone wants it, they'll tow it...

Well, one option you could choose if the funds are available would be to rent a storage garage and park it in there, or do you have a friends house to park at/in garage. If not, I'm going to say
to blocking it in, and still if someone wants it bad enough they can take it, remember, aside from a tow truck with cables to drag it, they have car "roller skates" or casters, where you can jack up a wheel at a time, put the caster under it and roll it around.

Yeah, it'll be blocked in on back and one side by cars. Otherwise they'd have to roll it through gravel. But it'll only reall ybe blocked in at night.
It's a nice neighborhood, I think it should be okay. I'll probably take a fuse out and the ECU. I've never taken out the ECU before, anything I need to know?

Only real thing you'll need to remember is that when you reconnect it, it'll need to "relearn" the car, so you just need to start the car and let it idle for a couple of minutes...

Sounds good, thanks.
Just for kicks, I already have that python 700 installed, I found the Compustar kit for about $270. Would It be easy to install the compustar in it's place? Any idea how much someone whould charge to install this?

Go to your local storage unit facility. Pay about $60 and store your car in there. Problem solved 100%.
Just dont tell anyone. People sometimes leak information by accident.

If I can find one that cheap I may certainly do that. I was thinking they would be $150+ because I'm sure most of em have a 3 month contract thing.
