Icon4 Audiovox alarm help

Whenever my battery is replaced or reconnected the alarm starts going off immediately in my ear and my remote won't shut it off sometimes.

Is there any way I can temporarily disable just the siren so I don't have to sit there with the siren blaring non stop while I try to fight with the alarm and remote to get it to turn off?

If you're comfortable with soldering and you know where the siren is located, you could simply clip the negative wire on it and just solder it back on afterwards.

If we're talking about the ground wire, could I just remove it from where it's grounded instead of clipping it?
