Default Amp and sub dont work

Last summer I put in a stereo with a sub and amp, worked fine for 2 weeks. I thought my amp had blown so I never really messed with it. for the last couple of months Ive been trying to figure out wth is wrong.

Ive put 3 diff working setups into my car and none of them work IN MY CAR. Something that has caught my attention is that the ground sparks.

some suggestions please!

93 honda del sol btw.

if ground sparks you may have created a short to ground

something that provides positive power to your amp may have been grounded

but im just guessing

yea, your power or remote wire may be chafing on metal somewhere. maybe on the hole in the firewall? did you use a grommet?

Well I decided to rewire everything, It was my remote wire being pinched. I also found that there was some rust on the ground connector, that probably did the sparking.
