my cda 7998 has worked flawlessly for 2 years now,i've had three other alpine decks

and had no problems.

My crappy pioneer from 1999 is still bumpin'....and it plays even the newer cd-r's

lol...well its settled then...i'm getting audiobahn

i kind of want to go with a serious SQ setup for my car mostly because theres a lot of work involved which gives me something to do in this spring/summer. I'm getting a price right now for the dynaudio system 360 and i'm leaning towards the butler amps but i'm still skeptical about how well tubes would survive in the car. the CDA-7990 would finish that system off nicely i think.

well other than the HU i'm hoping it shouldnt be more than $4000 for the speakers and the amps plus all the supplies i need to install it.

 

ive had my alpine since 97...no problems...and its went through *****...sony's okay...what'd you do to your decks...
