i have a 5900 instaled and i want to install another sensor that i have laying around, the sensor is 4 wires and the stock is 3 so, my question is do i just tap the wires going to the stock shock sensor or what?

 

yes you can tap the shock sensor, i had to do that with my old alarm when i got a different brand proximity sensor.

its a shock and sound sensor from an ebay alarm, it worked good on the old alarm. im trying to add it to the viper shock sensor.
new sensor is 4 wires, viper is 3.

 

did u look thru the thread on the link i showed u?

 

Do you know what the 4 wires are, [power, ground, input, output]? 94

 

make sure you use diodes.
