2000 Si security
i'd say the best system would be GPS. There are systems now that will call you if your car is moved a certain distance. other than that, invest around $300 for a good alarm and a **** load of swtiches.
get a layered security system... one that has lots of extra options so its harder for the thieve to get into and start the car to drive away... but then you gotta remember there are tow truck theives also.. if they want your car bad enough they will get it... GPS is nice but only if you have one that notifys you as sooon as the car has been moved w/ out you in the car.. lo jack has a new early warning system out now.. if the car i moved more than 6 inches from the packing spot w/ out being unlocked and started w/ the key and senses the special signal from something on your keyring it calls your cellphone or the police!
ive seen people put a hidden switch on the fuel pumps power line. without knowing where the switch is its almost impossible to steal the car...

Layer your security,
have a Club, red blinking light as deterrents, whatever else you can think of to make them find an easier target
get comprehensive insurance if its nice car, in case its trashed or stolen.
don't advertise with stickers and/or cranking up nice stereo as you pull in driveway.
tip from some other HT member "Just dont clip the fuel pump wires under the seat. Do it behind the dash or in the engine compartment somehow."
hide switches good, more than one, esp. if you have a nice car , Si or Integ, cars stolen a lot, .look at this thread, look at this guy's car --> https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=7
I would hate to have that happen. the guy had cut-off switch installed, they had time to remove back seats and rewire fuel pump >
thieves suck, pics like that, if I catch a thief breaking into my car I'm breaking bones in their hands/wrist at minimum, "I swear officer, he came at me so I kicked him in the nuts and grabbed his hand and twisted like there was no tomorrow because I didn't want him punching me or pulling a gun or knife." whatever bullshit story. leave it to the judge, thief's word against mine.
Hopefully no thieving for a while Mr. ******** thief with broken bones. also install razor blades where they might be putting their hands to steal car or parts or radio. super glue em in, remove with pliers when needed. intalling lip soon, going to be razors under that, grab hard and give good yank Mr. Thief.
no mercy for thieves, I work hard and pay for my parts.
