2 ohm vs. 4 ohm
I am looking at Rockford Fosgates product line and i notice they sell the Power subs in either 2 ohm or 4 ohm. What is the difference between them, and which would be better. (Money is not really an issue).
Also, I was planning on getting a Power T30001bd for the amp, and the sub would be the Power T212D4.

There is no difference in the subs other than the impedence of the sub.The 2 ohm voice coils take advantage of amplifiers that are able to handle 2 or 1 ohm loads. Basically if your amp can handle it, you will double your power with a 1/2 reduction in impedence.

Generally speaking....there are exceptions to the rule of course
Speaker manufacturers provide you the option so that you can better match their woofers to your chosen amplifier...
