i started this big project here

my plans-
fiberglass whole back and dashboard
install tv and speakers in the dash
move gauge set to the other side something new ya know
hook up my sound system 4 subs 8 speakers 2 tweeters 3 amps and more to come
hook up a kill switch
add 2 more batterys
wire the hydralics better and swap out to better hoses
get a gauge for the air tank
get a diffrent air tank and compressor
relocate ignition
install xbox 360
change the lights and wiper switch to a normal switch no stock big thing
make center console speakers to the back
no back seats only front
need the vents for ac

tips and any advice while i post some more pics threw out this week would be helpfull honestly i have only a lil clue in what im doing never fiberglassed before but i like the challenge

 

If you never fiberglassed anything ever i would suggest not doing this, or practice on something else first before you get into something you don't want to complete. There is a ton of work involved with doing this

 

First thing I checked was the post date to see if it was 1999.

 

i see this ending in failure and a ruined car.

 

lol, i went back and looked to make sure i didn't bring a thread back from the dead after i saw your post lol

 

This will decimate all, after we put about 10 grand into it. If we have to, over night some parts from Japan.

 

i already got the skeleton up and sturdy the constrution is easy its the eletrical thats gana be the hardest thing to change up (gotta have hope bro)

The construction is easy, making it paint ready is the time consuming part and will be alot more work then you expect. Get ready for hour and hours and hours of sanding, do you have high build primer or any autobody tools and something to use as a guide coat for sanding?

 

 

wire hyrdaulics better... swap hoses...then you say get a different air tank and compressor??? Is it bagged or on pumps?? lol. Sounds like you're gonna need a pretty beefy motor to pull all that weight around!
