I wanna hook up a kill switch to my amp so i can kill the power to the amps or shut them off. because of the cops around here. I only have one amp right now but am installing another amp when i put in my JL audio w6v2's. Anyone know how to do this or a website with a diagram of this please let me know.

On the remote turn on wire coming from the deck just install a toggle switch inline on that wire.

You are saying you have your remote splitting and then going to the two amps. Just make sure you install your SPST toggle or push button switch on the remote wire (usually blue) after it comes out of the head unit before it splits.

why would the cops care that you have an amp in your car? if the noise is a prob, here is a new flash. . . . turn the stereo down when you see a cop. lol

Yes just a toggle for the remote will work

The Pigs dont care if you have an amp in your car just the noise. But there is also my parents that drive my car sometimes and they hate my subs. So thanks everyone for the information on it. I plan to install a switch this weekend.
