Heres a good amp in your price range.
A Hifonics 1500,it'll push the sub just right.And it 1ohm stable.

I have a resonant XXX 15, thing freaking pounds. Only have a kenwood 1000 watt going to it right now. MIght pickup a RF 1800 watt amp instead. But even on the kenwood it hits HARD.

dont have a camera to take pics of the beast but i changed my order b/c i saw how huge it was. also i went to a local audio store and some guy showed me what a 10' could do and i was amazed. seeing what a 10' can do i said that a 12' was enough for me.
