hi i have a 91 ls with 1 15" L7 running off a 1000 watt MTX amp. i was wondering would it hit harder with 2 12" L7 with the same amp? The 15 is so big it misses some notes. i wanna to know wut u guyz think, keep the 15 or get the 12z.

 

2 L7's? All you need is one to get that thing jumpin, turn that gain up. 2x the gain would have to be so low, not to crack the windows or make you not deaf.

 

my setup below is sql more on the spl side, but it hits harder than a 15 and my box is ported, my cousin had a 15 orion h2 ported loud as hell didn't hit as hard as mine!!!!

2 12 L7 with 1000w NO!!! more like 1 12 L7 with 1000w, but if i were you i would get a 2000w amp and 2 12 L7 and put it in to a small sealed and call it a day!!!! That would hit hard as hell!!!

 

well ive got two 12 in my expo l7 they hit hard.... i battled one of my homies that had two 15 and we whent toe to toe!!

What kind of box do you have it in? I assume its ported, go sealed if you want the extra response. Gonna lose output tho.

And yes, the two 12's ported will still hit harder than the 15, even at half power.

 

its gonna hit harder cause its a tighter speaker...just like 2 tens is gonna Hit real hard...and get all the notes...but um y anyone would put 2 soloberics in Da is beyond me...i had 2 lil fosgates..and that was more than enough for me....man ur gonna be def for sure
