Default [Help]Amp and Subs

Hi my dad just recently gave me two 8" solo baric subwoofers already boxed for my integra. He also gave me a Rockford Punch 100 Amp. I hooked up the amp like this:
1. Power connected to positive battery
2. Ground connected to metal screw in my hatch
3. I connected the RCA cables from the back of my Kenwood head Unit to the amp
4. My dad connected the remote wire to the antenna
5. I connected the sub woofers to a channel of its own
(each sub had to be connected to a -/+ screw thing)

My problem: The right sub woofer works fine as long as the amp is on. The left sub woofer does not even come on. I changed the RCA cable to make sure that was not the issue but it did not help. Another problem is that my amp does not always come on and as a result of us messing with the antenna which was hidden in the hatch after we removed the plastic molding my tuner does not work on my Kenwood now.

NOTE: I'm only 15 so please if you can help try not to use lingo I do not understand..Thanks in advance!

Why did he connect the remote wire to the antenna? It goes to the Remote Turn-On on the back of your HU.

What is the model of your Kenwood?

Page 26 has your wiring diagram.

What color is your dad using as remote?

What I suggest. This should fix your problem, its how my Del Sol is set up.

Take another piece of wire and wire the Right subwoofer remote, over to the left remote. So there are two remote cables in the right (from the deck, and to the left). And one in the left (from the right sub).
