wired up the knock sensor and o2 sensor tonight.

it took me 6 different alternator belts but i finally cleared the frame rail. theres probably a few millimeters between the alternator pulley and the frame rail. i have about 1/4" on the tensioner that i could pull the alternator closer to the engine.

grinded off the rust and painted my headlights flat black

What color is that yellow? Looks similar to the E36 M3, Dakar Yellow!

Looks nice. And like the Dakar Yellow on M3s, it looks very period-correct.

things i have left to install before i can get it running:
new exhaust
starter
intake
front bumper
throttle cable
clutch cable
ecu
radiator
axles

car is running and driveable. it idles really low and surges and will eventually die if i dont feather the gas. i was able to drive it on the trailer though. just moved to ft worth yesterday. hoping i can get it running right so i can start cruising it.
