Yeah, I used to play tournament paintball. I was the only guy in the world weird enough to be playing on a competitive level with a Tippmann, so people started calling me Tippy. Tippmann Effect was my fav. team.

Well, I got it towed home, I "fixed" it, didn't feel comfortable with the hack job, so I drove it to Ross who worked at a shop to have it fixed properly.

 

BTW: The studs were re-torqued, valves adjusted (engine sounds a little better now, some were quite a bit off), and the new valve cover was slapped on tonight! I like it, I gotta take some pix.

I played IAO for tippmann owners. I was tippmannplaya11, I knew I remembered your user. I chilled with abunch of those guys about 4 months ago haha.

My plan for the trans is to install the 5th gear from my HF trans into the Si trans along with the OBX LSD.

1-4 will have the fast acceleration of the Si trans and 5th will be nice for cruising.

 

LSD due to arrive Thursday. I guess I should start getting this tranny ready!

Also got word that I passed my ASE's for Steering/Suspension and Brakes. Yay.

 

good job on the ASE's i was gonna take those same test in high school my teacher was gonna help me prepare but i got kicked out and i never bothered with them as everybody now tells me that there worthless LOL

As far as Honda is concerned, they are fairly worthless. Honda doesn't recognize it, nor do most dealerships care.

I look at it as I might not always work at a Honda dealer, and if I go somewhere else, it's a good thing to have.

Get the books though, there is ALOT of material covered.

tippy it's good to see your still going strong i havn't read all though your thread but you join up here on honda-tech about the same time as me and your knowledge is so much more then mine. If you remeber me i got rid of the red one i had and pick up a blue one back in march a month after i got it i've et everyone and my mother broorow it while i was gone in the army now i'm back and my parents just brought it back so i should be able to hoipefully catch up. but i will love to meet you one day man. good luck on your build and keep up the good work. nothing as been half *** as i can see.
