to the guy saying something about axles.... yea its all preloading my buddy is making 400whp in his eg hatch on stock axles stock tranny and slicks. and he hasnt broke anything yet.

i think with some good launches on those radials and some good driving u can get some mid-low 13's.

I'm not really worried about the axles, I'm gonna preload, plus if they break, no biggie, i'll just get the autozone axles. Lifetime warranty FTW.

I'm trying to get tires mounted, not get laid.

Trust me, no one wants to see me hit 13's more than I do.

Two different ways, really.

Some people stage and let the clutch out just to the point where its starting to catch, and hold it there.

Some people let the clutch out to just past the point of catching and hold the car back with the e-brake or a staging brake.

Lol. Apparently I am a little girly man and don't know how to tighten down bolts. The axle nut was loose!

Other than that, everything went pretty much as expected. Timing retarded 2 degrees, leakdown 11%, little coolant leak fixed, and brand new oem t-belt, waterpump, tensioner, and covers are on!

Thanks Ross!

I'm taking the car to Colin tomorrow to get the tires mounted on my balla rims.

Yeah, that **** was not funny when I had to go to C.A.P.S. for a new one with Brittany the next day.

DO NOT TAKE THE TWO SKINNY BOLTS OUT OF YOUR STARTER! You WILL NOT be able to get it back together...

It's my old four door. It's a Mugen EG hatch lip. To make it fit a EF you need a heat gun, patience and something to cut the ends off (dremel tool).
