Trim 'em up a bit. Mine are trimmed to the bottom of where they say "Honda" and I've got maybe 3/4" under them, they dont really rub THAT much

I'm sure if I drove around with them for a while they'd end up trimmed nicely!

The courier that was shipping my engine called this afternoon. It's here! I'm picking it up after school on friday! Pictures are of course pending. I'll actually try to use a digi-cam so you don't have to suffer through the camera phone pics any longer...

Looking good so far.

Not sure how good that oil filter is but I wouldnt cheap out in that department. As for the synchromesh, I believe Autozone sells the pennzoil brand if you want to pick it up in person. If not, check out summit racing.

Also, would you like to buy a better looking resistor box?

I've used it before, and from what I've seen it's just the same as the Fram version. (lol, it even has the same part #)

Of to a good start, yank that motor and then clean the bay. I'm in the process of swapping a motor in my sedan. Good luck and keep us updated!

Ya, he jacked it up while I slid the jackstand underneath. Having an extra hand around really helps, plus I get brownie points for bonding with her bro! lol

Get off HT and finish that bitch up! Engine removal should be cake aside from the axle nuts and bitch pin. If you don't know what a bitch pin is you'll soon find out

Lol, I've heard the horror tales, I just haven't gotten to it yet. I'm gonna be starting again on her tomorrow bright and early in the morning. My goal tomorrow is to get the motor ready to be pulled out so that when I officially fix the engine hoist I can just pull it out and not have to fuss w/ the old motor.

Lol,

I won't be able to work on it again until Wednesday. My goal for Wednesday is to remove all hoses, fittings, etc. that are connecting the engine to the chassis. Also I would like to get my AC off. Then, on Friday I'll take out the suspension components and shift linkage that need to be taken care of.

You don't mean the entire AC do you? You only have to remove the compressor. Motor removal's the easy part
