So yeah, I'm back at it boys (and girls)...
You may or may not remember me from my Green EK coupe build thread I had on here. Well, long story short, I totaled that car in a bad accident on the highway last summer and swapped the engine and suspension over to a Pepsi Blue EK hatch. Earlier this year I sold that to a close buddy of mine to handle a few things I had going on in my life at the moment. Now the time has come to build once again!!
I found a decent deal from a friend of mine selling his 1992 EG hatchback (the car I always wanted to own again) so I jumped at the opportunity to get back into the K series world. The car like I said, is a 1992 Honda Civic hatchback. It has been repainted inside and out a platinum silver? (not sure of the exact color at this point). It came K swapped already so a lot of the grunt work has been complete and I can focus on details and getting everything correct with the car. The motor needs a rebuild we think. Head gasket and rings is all I'm hoping. It was overheating and spitting oil (excessive amount) back into the catch can. The setup is a 13.7:1 K24 bottom end and a K20 head. I'll get to other details as time goes on. So for now, on to the part y'all wanna see, THE PICS!!
Taking the car home
It's arrives at a friends shop
Pondering everything I plan to change at this point
EDM Headlmaps (adjustable) & Corners
More updates coming in the next day or two when I get time to get back to the garage.

Here's the dyno graphs from the motor before it had the Xcessive on it. It was never tuned on this manifold...
And some closer up pics of the Endyn head
Anyone know what these markings mean?
I apologize for the iPhone pics lol I'll be taking the Canon to the garage this week.
Thanks man...
Heres a few more pics of the setup prior to me getting it along with what Endyn has done.
Block Girdle and Roller Wave Pistons
The ENDYN RBC Im still undecided on
Picked this up today. Traded my buddy for my Endyn RBC, 70mm TB, and a few bucks.
58mm Xcessive Manifold
Velocity Stacks Plate
Q45 TB (80-90mm I believe)
Throttle cable bracket
My buddy with my old K20 EK and DeeDee sleeping
Spent an hour scrubbing this thing down with Ajax and degreaser.
Still not up to par. I'm thinking about media blasting it or something. Any pointers?
2 more questions.
Civic DX cable the only one that will fit? Ready to order one from Ryan (Bodyman) @ AFH parts tonight.
And what's this for?
So tomorrow is the day I hope..
Planning on dropping the engine back into the chassis seeing I got most of the items I needed to do so.
Really have been debating this clutch seeing all the failures with the CC4 lately but having faith
Xcessive 58mm K-Pro with Velocity Stacks
Original Porting
Nissan Q45 Throttle Body
V band for the 4" Intake
S2K Oil Filters
8x OEM Flywheel Bolts
1998 Civic DX Throttle Cable
92-95 Civic Accessory Floor Mats
32mm Base RSX Axles I scored from Jamie @ Marsh Tuning
Even came with a new half shaft since mine was spent
Mounts sanded and ready to be coated black
Also picked up this ready-to-go 4" intake with matching v band to sit behind the bumper. I will be extending it though to come about 4-6" out of the bumper
With a 5" Velocity Stack
All set to go tomorrow [emoji106]🏻
Managed to get to the garage today and do work!
Bolted up the manifold. Still need a heat shield gasket apparently it got lost in the travels.
New OEM flywheel bolts
Not sure where this coolant came from with the previous owner but all should be good now since the rebuild
BRAND NEW CC4 clutch probably shouldn't be looking like this. I don't think this clutch is gonna make it past this season but we'll see
Torquing things down
Trans on ready to drop it in
Just enough room to clear the water neck. Need to pick up a v band now
Not too bad for plastidip lol
All my friends came by to help. Tons of appreciation I'll tell ya couldn't have done it today without them
Just odds and ends left now
Soon enough I'll be in here
That's all folks....

Dat ***
More parts came in yesterday. My traction bar radiator mounts from KTuned as well as a few other misc goodies I needed. So close to starting now.
Almost time to email Chris at Xenocron and make that appointment for a KPRO & tune!
4" tubing and 3.5" v band for my transitioned intake setup
Bump Sticks [emoji57]
Because street car
Not much. The throttle cable actually is really close to the radiator. Although I'm still using, the original bracketing on the support to mount the radiator.
However guys, I'm looking for some input on mounting my overflow. Was thinking just using the drive side frame rail maybe. I flipped the fan around to the front side for more room and started to make my intake. 3.5" v band off the TB, transitioning to a 4" straight out the bumper finished with a 4" stack.
Installed the S2000 AP1 radio I had laying around. I plan to finish the interior look with a set of SIR gauges for the amber look.
And here's my beautiful fiancé bolting up the Xcessive for me after I got my new heat shield gasket [emoji108]🏻

True indeed. I personally prefer the forums as it kinda weeds out a lot of the unnecessary comments and gives you more detail regarding a build. Thats not to say forums dont have their own share of issues.... Nonetheless, I look forward to when you get that thing up and running. Im sure its gonna be a fun ride.
Edit:
How much clearance do you have from the furthest point out from the IM/TB and the Rad support? Just wondering if it would clear a condensor....

Re: Sp00nfedfilms' DeeDee | K24 | K-Tuned | ChaseBays | Xcessive
Hope everyone had a blessed Memorial Day weekend!
I messed around with the car a bit and actually stumbled upon some things that needed changing.
First, I always knew the car had a little bit sketchy wiring but never knew to what extent, now I do.
Complete Rewire!
It's hacked to say the least. I mean it worked, I just don't know how lol. Homemade conversion harness which leads to a messy engine harness. Things are cut to no end. I wouldn't even know where to begin if I had to begin diagnosing wiring issues (which I'm sure I would)
So I made the decision. Start from scratch...
1. New dash harness
2. New engine harness
3. New conversion harness
4. Too it off with Wire-Worx S2K conversion
That leads me to my next topic, the provider. I planned on using Xavier from Wire-Worx for my entire project but funds became an issue. Even though he was giving me the deal of a lifetime and spent countless hours on the phone/email/PM with me planning this whole thing out, I just couldn't swing it ATM. My fiancé and I are closing on a house this weekend and it'd be silly for me to drop that kind of coin on wiring right now. I will however still be using him for the AP1 cluster conversion as there is NOBODY I trust to give me a seamless transformation more than him! With that said, here's what I did...
This morning I'm scrolling my timeline and was tagged in a post on IG for a Chase Bays stage 1 k series harness (Yes, I know..CHASE BAYS) I myself have witnessed the horror shows and countless threads of his mistakes and lack of customer service but the deal was too good to pass up. So I took the chance.
Brand new Chase Bays harness
Also came with a Chase Bays charge harness & Hybrid Racing conversion harness
The only thing now is find a cluster and holla at Wire-Worx to order their new PnP conversion kit and bezel.
Let the flaming begin....

Spent the day down at my garage messing with the car. So close to start up. My tenants granddaughter said she wanted to help, so be it...
We were able to switch a lot of the sensors over. Alternator being one of them. According to my research the 4th wire wasn't needed and was for ELD which my car doesn't have. So 2 of the other 3 wires matched up color to color from Chase's harness to the OEM K20A2 harness. Also found the TPS plug but didn't actually rewire it to the Q45 harness yet because I'm looking for the female end of a plug so I can make it plug and play. Just incase I ever want to remove it and use an RBC again, the harness won't be hacked up. Anyone know where I can find one?
Speed sensor had been switched according to this diagram. Done
We also removed the entire cabin harness which the previous owner had integrated into the headlight harness. I just wanted to start from scratch like OEM. So I'll be sourcing a new harness from the junk yard and new heat components also.
Still haven't received the Wire-Worx S2000 dash conversion so that stuff is still untouched. The dash will be removed upon receiving the new harness and heater core.
Harness doesn't lay as "perfect" as I'd want it to be but its ok for now. One reason is the speed sensor as it was designed for the Z3 transmission where the VSS is on the front
Coil layout isn't perfect either but will do. Surprised as most other Chase Bays harnesses are a lot tighter on the coil run...
Finished off my intake setup. 3.5" from the Q45 TB with a 45* coupler then a 4" straight out of the bumper finished off with a 4" velocity stack. It's a lot of coupler but it'll do for now until I can weld everything together
Chase threw in a banner with the order I made from him, so I said why not?
Took some other photos on the Canon DSLR which I'll upload soon.
Until next time folks...

Looks great!
Sorry about the harness. Yeah, agreed, for what those things cost, that should have come with perfect fitment. I feel like you could de-pin the farthest injector pins, de-loom the connectors, shorten them, then re-loom them fairly cleanly. Stinks you'd have to, though.
I'll be following along. Love the ram air set up!
Just an idea: a plastic ring like they use on bass drums (for drum sets) to place a microphone hole on the head could likely serve as a nice trim piece for your bumper hole. See this link below:

Tune appointment is set for next week guys. Decided to go with Yosolo over Xenocron for the simple fact that he was a little more personable with me. And Chris was tied up
