I could put a pair of knuckles with all 3 sphericals together for you if you were willing to pay for materials up front. Just a heads up though its going to cost roughly $150 plus a little labor at the machine shop just to do my camber arms. Shoot me a pm if youre interested.

lol... wow. I've been reading this thread, and you do this hobby well.
Can't wait to see a upper a-arm built, i was ironically dry boarding that the other night, even lower control arms, as long as you keep the geometry this is not a hard build.
I was thinking light weight solid steel rods, round bar horizontial/welded, then the entire thing braced with dimpled sheet metal.. making the jig would be a primary responsibility..
On a side note, this is were i hope the sport goes.. more people making parts in the backyard/garage.. using intelligence and hard work... not wallets!

Re: SHG is back! Easy's EP3 goes under the knife...
Wrd! Heard youre going to SPOON this year
Yeah, members only on the banners
.
.
Got some good stuff done tonight... came upon some trunk mat from a donor car at work today and thought up this little addition to the interior
Here is how it looks under the trunk carpet from the factory - They use an extra felt/insulation mat over the exhaust side to reduce drone...
.
.
I decided it would be easy enough to get more coverage than stock so I traced the stock felt onto the new mat with the added stencil
.
.
.
.
Made the attachment holes with a spot weld cutter
.
.
New vs Old
.
.
Pretty nice there was a second hole in the frame on the drivers side to fasten the new mat with. Im guessing thats for the RHD models.
.
.
I decided to not only use the new mat I made but I also kept the stock one, so there is double insulation on the exhaust side
.
.
Also got the rear suspension cleaned up and removed the knuckles so I can replace the upper arm bushings with sphericals

Damn, I wish I had the funds and resources to be meticulous as you are, with my car.

You're always up to no good when I come in this thread lol. Really neat work with the insulation, looks great in there too.
Are the spherical bushings going to have drawbacks on your setup?

Thanks, yeah Im really happy with how it came out. Sphericals shouldnt have any drawbacks, except wearing out. But Ill be using high quality self lubricating PTFE lined bearings so They should last at least a couple years before needing replacement.

I absolutely love the audio setup and how the deck is mounted under the seat. I know you're not the first, but I will be ripping this idea off for sure lol.

hi my name is brad and i just joined HT here today. this thread was a major factor in doing so as i really wanted to express just how utterly amazed at your attention to detail work ethic towards a car.
wow. just wow. i usually just hit up google for build threads to gain ideas and honestly to see how far the bar is hahaha. your's probably one of the best honda build's i have came across online, hands down. took me the better part of two days to read it all though oh well, bored at work! LOL
man i gotta tell ya, i thought i was **** with my cars. haha not even in the same league as you. i have some chevy cavalier's that i am building right now. no honda's unfortunately but i love to broaden my horizons and see what other car guy's are doing. i have no hate, and i love most honda's. i myself could definitely see myself in a 2000ish electron pearl blue civic si coupe... maybe one day!
i never even thought much about hardware until i saw what you were doing. i mean sure ive added stainless stuff here and there as well as had some bolts chromed but never thought to do it on the level you have. i looked online for some places that do cadmium coating and i think chemprocessing.com looks to be promising for my needs unless you have another place you would recomend?
love the work on the spoiler as well. most people just throw **** on and it looks like garbage. its people like you that go the extra mile on things like this that the tuner world needs. so much half-assed crap out there its unbelievable.
only things im not tooo much of a fan of is the green banner (i get it though, reppin SHG!) just dont like the green. definitely not a fan of the honda's out there with the neon green or bright pink wheels, gaudy colors. im more of a grey's, black's, and dark blue's fan myself. and i get it, to each their own so rep on!
other thing would be the headlight eyelids. ive never been a fan of those on any car though, really. you like em though, so great!
anyways, just wanted to tell you i am impressed and keep up the good work. ill be back to see what else you got up ur sleeve!!!
