Default Project: De-Rice

I started with a vary sad looking 90 Honda Crx SI that I picked up for $800. It ran great but looked like it belonged in a junkyard.
Body kit, spray painted blue, euros, heavy and ugly wheels, no interior from the seats back, what little interior it did have was spray painted white. This poor car had a bad case of the rice.

After a few bad mistakes on the body work. (IE a new body kit)

I decided stock look was the best so I replaced all the after market stuff for stock parts. After 2.5 years this is what I've turned it into. Still has alot of work that needs to be done but its looking better already.

Then the motor decided it was done so I swapped in a Z6. Then blew the transmission so I replaced it also.

And Heres where it is as of now.

Future plans are stock headlights, Turbo, carbon fiber hood and sunroof and then paint.(not 100% on color yet but was thinking about 99 SI civic blue)

Thanks for looking

Went to a car meet and got some new pics.

This is where we meet up to drive down to the meet. (camera phone pic)

Also added some JDM side markers. They've been sitting in my garage for a year and I decided what the hell lets throw them on.

I'm guessing the original color was black due to the engine compartment and doors. But I just know about keeping it black. I think I'm going with a Honda blue. I'm going to strip it and do all of the car.
