I think its about time to make Project De-Rice faster. This should help.



starting to piece together a home made turbo kit. So far I got the turbo. (free and in 100% perfect shape) Bolt on down pipe that will be modified to fit my car. Sandwich plate, and my ECU is already chipped with chrome pro.

Still need a lot of stuff but I'm not in a big hurry so I'm going to take my time and get what I want.

Its tons of fun. I'm meeting up with the guy I bought it from this weekend. He found some parts he took off and is giving them to me. I cant wait to see his face.

Meet up with the original owner of the car and he didn't belive it was the same car. He swore I got a better one. LOL


Well projest De-Rice is going to stage 2 I ordered almost everything I need to boost it so hopefully in a mount or so it will have 7psi and more power.

it was great because he really didn't believe it was the same car. He just stood there with this dumb look on his face the whole time. Me and my brother LOL the whole way home.

I got most of the rear interior back for it but all I really wanted was the vertical panel that goes above the cargo ben and below the cargo cover. It was broke in half I also got a few odds and ins back.

The real reason for going back was just to rub the CRX in his face and say yea you sold it for $800 and I'm getting offers of double that. LOL

Update on my boost project.







All I have left to do is oil feed, oil drain, down pipe, lower radiator hose(stock one won't fit the radiator), fix my oil leak from my oil pump, figure out how to put a air filter on the turbo. Then after I get it back on the ground pull the gas tank and install new fuel pump and install the fuel pressure regulator.

The weid thing is the turbo was fine on my stepdads car a year ago.

 

that sucks, AND swallows the load. How did it happen?

 

I guess the turbo sitting for a year killed the seals and the high start up pressure blew then out. Worst part is I'm broke and now I have no car. I do have a work van so I'm not in trouble. I guess I'm going to have to buy a TD05 16g or 14B and install that.

Got the bumper cut and installed. Just waiting for my new TD05 14B to be delivered and then make a down pipe and hook up the piping for the intercooler and done.






Also traded the black projection headlights I had for these. Front Mud Guards!!!

 

well fixed my drivers side window. One bolt came out of the regulator and popped it completely out of the track. It scratched my tint but whatever. Also installed my turbo timer.

Its running and not leaking. Now to put it down on the ground and test drive it tomorrow. (to tired to deal with it tonight)
Finished down pipe. I still have to wrap. Its really ugly.

Haven't figured out how I'm going to put a air filter on it yet. There no room for one.
