waste gate works just as it should, I have a tiny bit of creep sometimes in 4th and 5th but Its due to it being about 25-35 degrees out around here and my boost cut is set 1 psi about full boost.

I decided to throw my new longblock in because I can feel the damage on the crank with my fingernail and I am pretty sure it wont stay fixed for long if I dont have it turned.

the new longblock I bought has a supposed rebuilt head and I pulled the valve cover off and everything looks really clean and valve guides look to be new. def a sweet bonus for me
also came with a obd1 alternator/ dizzy/ injectors..etc so I can sell those to help fund my car

Ill keep every one posted and I got some more pics to come.

started pulling my motor today, but I got the bright idea to pull just the motor and attempt to leave the tranny/axels/shift link in the car. Im pretty sure this wont work because of clearence issues oh well. just another lesson learned.

heres a pic of the head on my new motor, it appears to be pretty fresh as the guy told me it had been rebuilt.

also got some paint for the cast iron manifold down pipe, waste gate and some other things it is supposed to stand up to 2000 degrees f.

sold the alt for 40 bucks. still have the dizzy for sale. looking to get $50 for it which is a good deal for a obd1 ls diz.

been working on swaping parts over from ls#1 to ls#2;
clutch flywheel
thermostat (just cause I know its good)
intake mani

it was such a f**kin bitch to get the intake manifold gasket off off ls#2. I spent prob 3 hours just widdeling away at it with a razor blade. I bought some gasket remover stuff that worked about as good as my boogers for getting intake manifold gaskets off.

also went to ace true value hardware and picked up new allen bolts to hold the turbo onto the manifold because the studs that came with the manifold were too short and I didnt trust them to alot of torque. I put lock tight on them all as well as lock washers so hopefully I wont be missing 2 nuts like it was when I pulled the manifold off.

looking to swoop up a wideband o2 if any one has one for sale.

justin you pissed me off at the wrong time and I threw my phone and broke it lol.

went to bead at 745 am, got up at 11 am. worked on the car all day. wouldnt start, ecu problems and what not turned out to just be no good engine grounds. the ones I had were insulated by the grommets on the valve cover

fired it up finally and it runs pretty good. gonna go see jeff at rrev tomorrow to have him look it over. I hooked up a aem wideband and it seems to lean out.. alot during accelerating once it starts to build a tiny bit of boost. IDK if its cause my timing is so far off or what. ill post some more pics when I get a new phone lol

wow, today sucked. had to deal with a bunch of cell phone b.s. and on my way back from the verizon store my oil pan bolt fell out, so along with having no oil, I had no working cell phone, and no contacts. ugh. ended up calling the phone company myself and got one phone working then called my parents (only number I could remember off the top of my head)

there was a huge *** stream of oil going down one of the main streets and it was pouring down rain out, put a new oil pan bolt in it and filled her back up, no problems so far. I can't believe I made such a rookie mistake but I believe that it was caused by my buddy helping me with the car so I didn't think to double check everything like that oil pan bolt. so I took the car home and got her all cleaned up. heres a few pics I took real quick with my new phone

new b18b1 v.c. sand blasted

smurf colored downpipe all wrapped up

stupid ****ing rod bearing

Very nice man. Ill bring your intake back tommorow. I think I will buy the injectors since I have them in and dont feel the need to take em out. Be glad you didnt make my mistake and not check your lugs and have your wheel wobbling

finally timed the motor right, had to get into the s300 and go to the set timing feature that makes it at 16 degrees and then used my timing light. runs good but pulls 12.6 afr in a 5th gear pull (only gear it would hook in) at full boost. gonna go to rrev monday to have jeff make a few adjustments for me.

I agree...I dont like that thought of oil pressure going down. I would rather have the wheel wobble.

update on the car.

its been running good but I have alot of small stuff pestering me. the heater core doesn't seem to get a good flow of coolant to it so it works for about 30 seconds then gets cold. Im gonna try to flush it and see if I can't clean it out and also replace the heater valve since mine is kinda messed up.

its been pouring down rain so I finally broke down and bought a good set of windsheild wipers and man it sooo much better
one of my hid's went out but luckily I got the low/highs so I still have h4's to drive with till I can get it figured out, the bulb that doesn't work just kinda flickers with light but is not bright at all. Im also bidding on a set of arp headstuds so when I get those that will give me more piece of mind.

heres a few pics, the autozone hi temp engine paint is actually holding up pretty well (would have done better if I would have used the hi temp primer)

also picked up a set of 24.5" slicks wooo woop

I like your double blow off valves. It's like psssssssssssssssh^2. Ganxta. I'm gonna build a LS, boost it, and slap it in a Integra. She'll be done sometime this summer '010. I know Jeff S since he had that boosted b16 in a teal EF, we made fun of his "welds" haha.

jeffs a good guy, he's tuned 3 of my cars now and Im very happy with how they all ran. his welds have gotten alot better since then I want to have him tig me up a nice set of aluminum charge pipes someday when I have a little more cash flow.

heres some more pictures and a little up date.
well I lost my liscense till the begining of march so I don't have anything to do besides work on my car and clean up my house a little bit. I decided to make some spacers for my front struts so I can clear my 24.5" slicks and possibly some mickey thompson 235/60/15 (26" drag radials)

Im also working on bondoing some of the engine bay, painting my charge pipes and gonna have a buddy of mine spray the valve cover when I decide on a color.

also got some new street tires on the car, dunlop spec star z1's in a 195 55 15, I am suprised by how good they hook, for being way narrower then my 225's I was running I can get them to pretty much stick 2nd gear in the rain. can't wait to try them out on dry pavement.

heres a really crappy video of a evo I raced that made 399whp/360tq. I was on 23" slicks. it was taken on a iphone, Im working on gettin the video my buddy filmed with his cammera

I also have been working on getting the car as light as possible. right now it scales at 2050 with a half tank of gas in it and 2200lbs with me in it. I plan on doing the same thing to the doors as well
