It's coming out OK, not as good as I would like. I think that is because all the body work I am having to do, the car has to sit out side.

Now my blue one is going to be a base coat clear coat and I will be spending a lot of time on that one to get it perfect. This white one is not.

Coming along nice

unlike this bumper im painting, i dont like the way it sprayed it was wierd like it kinda came out like when you spray glue (looked like hairs where coming out of the gun)

i mixed 4:1 it was a uratheane ppg basecoat mixed it with reducer

the same paint i used to paint my friends fender and bumper and that came out great but this one sprayed like **** idk what happened

and i also had to use my small gun bc the big gun sprayed like ***!

do you knwo what could have happened?

and i think dirt particles got into the clear bc its just on top of the bumper

idk

but the cars looking good so far anything on the blue car started?

OOO yes I know what happened. You mixing was off a bit, not enough reducer. I did this the first time I painted my bike lol. There were little hairs everywhere. My dumb *** just keep on going. Man that was a mess. Next time you mix get a little Dixxie cup and poor it in the a big cup. 4 cups then 1 cup then 1 cup. This will give you the 4:1:1 you need and it's a lot easier then trying to poor it in a mess cup.

As for the blue car, no nothing. I want the white one done so I can sell it and get a JDM front bumper/ fenders and hood. I will be doing a base/clear on that car not a Single stage. I will be takeing my time on that car.

in the 4:1:1 ratio whats the second one its 4 parts paint to 1 part reducer to 1 part?
the only additive i got from the paint shop was reducer for the paint and activator for the clear

EDIT: its wierd though i did the same excat mixture to the other paint i did and it was differnt color but the same paint im confused

The Activator is the hardner.

Assuming you are using a PPG base/clear system, the base uses ONLY colour and reducer, its the clear coat that uses clear, reducer and hardener. Adding the hardener (activator) to your colour will get you cottage cheese! the two stage paints are completely different than single stage paints! Also make sure you spray clear over the colour within approx 6 hours of spraying the colour coat.

Also, get a tech sheet from your ppg supplier, but the mixing ratios for the base should be 1:1 colour to reducer, then the clear should be 2:1:1 (clear, reducer, hardener) assuming you are using the concept dcu series of polyurethane clear.
