haha you knwo how long it took me to get those Si rims lol

and the seats are pritty good fairly comfertable i just have to fab brackets

stock holes for the seats are

about 17 1/2 " in the rear and about 15 1/2 or so in the front

and the new seats are like 15 front and rear

edit: those measurments are distances between each hole

70 deg is optimal. at 55 degrees the paint will take twice as long to flash.

you're spending too much time in one spot. if you're doing an edge on a fender start at the front and in one motion go to the back. if you're doing the door jam start in one corner do a full circle in one motion ending up where you started. shimmying back and forth is asking for trouble.

what kind of blocks are you using?

i had my block i used for sanding kinda like this

i have that block (somehting liek that )

and cut about 4 inch off, then splices it down the middle

so its like 4" long and about 1/4- 1/2" thick

edit: and on the painting, everytime i did paint it was about 70 degrees thats why i havent painted in 2 days bc its been like high tto low 50's

your block will work well for the large flat areas. you'll need something else for the bottom of the doors, areas around the 1/4 window and the wheel arches. the middle block in the pic will do the trick. It's 3/8 heater hose wrapped with 3/8 insulation.

my car probably wouldnt be this good at this point if it wanst for you guys!!!!

so that heater hose is about the size of the hoses going into the firewall going to the heater core, about that size and jsut insulatetion (like the foam that raps around the pipes ?>

great idea thanks!

I think you are looking to much in to wet sanding this car. The paint is not going to last no matter what you do, so don't spend so much time on it. Wet sand it in a circle motion and call it a day. Stay away from the edges, maybe even tape them off to you don't cut through. Then buff that bad boy!!!

Looks good man, for what it is, it's not bad at all.

it's slighly larger with a stiffer sidewall. yea insulation that's used on AC lines. there may be a piece on your pcv hose.

pics of shipping damage?
