My Ej8 Build
I bought this car last fall and was waiting for the shitty South Dakota weather to subside. Here are some pics of the progress from last night. I had to leave early to wait for the furniture delivery peeps to deliver our new couch so here's the shots I snapped. I apologize about the shotty pics as I forgot my camera and just had my celly on me. Big thanks to my dad and his friend Joe for helping after hours at the Vern Eide body shop a local Honda dealership (my dad's the body shop manager):
Before

During

Marking the dents we need to fix

Test fitting and aligning the new body panels before they are painted

My dad fixing holes that were created by the previous owner for a body kit

This guy

The loaner car!

There will be more pics as it progresses. I'm going back tomorrow after work to get some more done to it and then Saturday hopefully it will be in primer

Today I did the thin moldings and skirts with a scuff pad, water, and plastic cleaner:

He's doing the detailed work as he's a veteran at it and I'm doing a lot of the final prep such as prepping the plastic, scuffing the edges, tight areas and doing the smaller items like the mirrors and door handles... etc. Mechanical work is more my forte.
Well, last night it was painted. When I left they were just putting the last coat of sealer on it and then was going to start painting. I had to wake up hella early today to get to work by 6 so I couldn't stay to see it get sprayed. Here are the pics I snapped:
