Before you start asking me why...my response is going to be why not? lol. I've seen alot of people here on Honda-Tech use and like ebay products, but at the same time, I've seen probably more people that HATE ebay with a passion. I am not going to spend a ton of cash on this project, I am just simply doing it to see how cheap I can build a car. My theory on cheap parts are that they are only as good as the installer/owner. Some parts yes, I WILL steer clear from, but for the most part, this build will contain 99% ebay parts. Not necessarily ebay "brands" but, ebay parts none the less. Lets get started...
The car I am going to be using for this "project" is a 1991 Acura Integra GS. I picked this car up for $1,300. Pretty decent for the condition it is in. The interior is near mint, only minor flaws. When I got the car it had 158,000 miles on it. Mostly stock except for parts that were already on the car. Pace setter cat-back, cold air intake, eibach lowering springs, and a stage 2 clutch, name is unknown. On with the build...
Here's just some shots as the car is sitting right now. Looks pretty good I think. Not too shabby. Comment and FLAME away, (as I'm sure your going to)

My ebay intercooler its 25.5 x 5.5 x 2.5 cost me $60 shipped

Here's my spark plugs, not ebay, but cheap.. $8 at the Zone

Ebay dual core half radiator and 10" electric slim fan cost me $92 shipped

I know alot of people wouldn't want their stuff. But, at the same time, alot of people wonder what they work like, I hope to find out myself.
Thanks for the comment.

Lol. I hope I don't end up with **** for parts. But, hey its ebay... As for plans on the build. I am going boost, obviously. Keeping stock internals, stock head, and I'm gonna see how much i can make out of this car. If it blows, it blows. I'm not gonna purposely blow it, but hey, **** happens. As far as turbo size, I'm hoping to use a t3/t4 57 trim. Hoping to push around 14 psi through it. My power goal is 300. If I can't hit that with the **** I'm buying, I'll have to crank the boost or somethin, idk. lol. But for now, those are the plans. Not really a purpose built, just something quick on the streets, and occasional trip to the local strip.
haha guess i kinda have to subscribe to this since i'll be the one helping most of the way with it! lol
as for the guy with the bad ebay exhaust...both jerry and i have used ebay exhausts in the past and both worked/fit/sounded great. what kind did you get? did you possibly get it for the wrong car (not saying your fault, maybe they gave you the wrong one)?

thats a really clean DA for 1300... GL with the build
I cant wait to see what kind of powit this thing makes... my boy did a full ebay built turbo DA and made 265 whp on 10 psi and that was on a completely stock b18 with 150,000 miles so you can def get this thing to be pretty fast just make sure you tune it right cause everyone knows its not the parts its the tune
