Thanks guys. Not sure what I want to do with the fuel tank .. kind of looking at a fuel cell setup, but I have alot of research to do on what they require and may end up just cleaning up the tank and replacing the fuel pump instead.
Last thing looming is my valve cover! haha .. it's been neglected all this time and I can't decide what I want to do with it, guess I better hurry up with that eh?

Cleaned up and painted the GSR manifold pieces:

Cleaned up, sanded, primered the valve cover:

Stuck for ideas on what to do with the valve cover, hrmm.

Next up, valve springs/retainers install (next weekend), claying for clearances before final engine assembly.:hi5:

its good to see that you're doing everything step by step the right way. that thing should be pretty nasty when you get it all done. cant wait to see the finished product.

I ran an LS trans on my b16 swap for a while and was the slowest thing ever, but you should be fine since you have torque

thanks guys! I do have more pics of Haruki's car somewhere, I'll have to dig em up though.

Updates from today:
Parts that arrived (Rywire harnesses, Outlaw Engineering gasket kit, complete fuel system fittings/hoses, FPR, filter, pump, Endyn block adapter:

Installed the Endyn adapter:

Outlaw gasket kit installed, throttle body as well:

Currently having issues installing the stainless lines into the hose ends, I guess I need some better methods or hacksaw blades, cause **** ain't workin'! Also, the Walbro pump I have is too long for the OEM bracket and did not come with a screen FTL .. more updates next weekend
.

Installed flywheel

Installed pressure plate/disc

And a quick pic of one wheel mounted (disregard the rusted rotor!)

Been kinda quiet with pictures lately mostly because I have been waiting for parts (mounts, header, catalytic converter, chipped ecu). I will have the mounts this week, so the engine will be going in pretty soon! Also have been reinstalling the fuel tank with the Walbro pump, installing some generic coilover sleeves (temporary to adjust for ride height, will be going the GC/Koni route in the summer), converting fuel supply/return hardlines to -6AN fittings, and reinstalling the exhaust. 2 weeks from today will be the turnkey (crosses fingers!!!).

UEGO arrived:

Innovative mounts as well (SpoolinDevelopment FTW):

Camera's batteries went dead so that's all I have for today as far as pics. Pretty much spent the day re&re'ing the rear suspension (snapped LCA bolt), re-hanging the exhaust and fuel tank, mounting the transmission and engine mounts, as well as the catch can and fuel pressure regulator. Couple more full days of installs/prepping before the motor goes in on the 15th!

UPDATED 04/09/07:
So, pretty much down to waiting for my header FTL! Should be shipped soon here though, MAY have to postpone the firing up until the 22nd though.

Progress pics:

Installed the catch can, fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator with lines:

Transmission mounted, wiring harness attached, injectors modified and connected, unfinished valve cover:

Fenders back on, can you spot the new CF? :
