well not really to the machine shop..but taking those damn piston pin swirls off!! lol..they are a pain in the *** =D ... but after the fist one i put them all in like nothing. I cant imagine taking them off!!!

you mean the spiro locks? LOL yeah, i can imagine. it's a PITA to remove them! that's why i made 100% sure am installing them pistons correctly.

Just got an E-mail from Arias:
"The intake valve relieves are under "ARIAS", when you look in the
underside
of the pistons, the name ARIAS is engraved on the forging, the side
where
ARIAS is located will be the side with the intake valve relieves."
i just had to confirm!! because i was scared!! ;D
Dude!!! i took my oil pan off!! and my arias logo is on the EXHAUST SIDE!!

but now am totally lost since the intake side has deeper valve reliefs

if this pic is true, narrow intake skirt vs. wider exhaust skirt, them i have to redo all the stuff then

UPDATE: e-mail
"If you measure the vertical depth they will be deeper.
The exhaust relieves have a 15° angle on them.
Once again, the valves that appear to be closest to the edge are the exhaust valve relieves."

i think that to the naked eye... the ex. valve reliefs seem bigger because they have more of an angle to them... not necesaraly deeper.. like it says in the email.

seems like i need to visit my favorite machine shop next weekend.

btw, what's your piston to wall clearance? am at 0.002" as per Arias specs.
