Did I read correctly on your for sale thread you are maybe going to get a GSR???

 

Ehh... I was trying to get a GSR and get rid of my DD black EJ1, but that kinda fell through. ha ha ha like most of my plans... The red EJ1 will hopefully be with me for a while

I did edit a picture I took the other day in photoshop... Let me know what you guys think!

 

You could still get a GSR motor for the red EJ1 and have the spirit of a GSR. I went back to the previous page to if you had posted the above photo before, but the pics weren't showing up. Said you exceeded your photobucket bandwidth. Loving the new shot. The paint looks so damn smooth and glorious. The passenger visor is maybe a little distracting to me though.

 

Thats not a visor, it is Ohio's stupid front license plate! It will probably be taken completely off soon, I just have to re-run some wires for my radar/laser detector that I have installed...

Very nice PS skills, a little chroma boost and color correction can do wonders!!!

 

Defiantly helps bring out the colors and shine of real life that my stupid point and shoot camera doesnt show at all. Cant wait til my tax return and get a DSLR

 

uber' clean man, new pics all came out real nice. I'd paint the fog grilles black but other than that it's perfect

 

I was thinking about that as well, but I decided that I would paint it the way it came stock on my car (94/95 had color matched fog light grills).

 

Car looks good, but that painted front lip is killing it.

 

Thanks. To each his own. I love it for now, and if I do get sick of it... The junk yard has unpainted lips, and side skirts... Much easier to go back to stock than to color match in the future... That was my reasoning behind it

 

I like the painted look. Makes it look like it's straight from the factory.

 

Thanks Chef I figured the worst that could happen was me not liking the look, and finding the stock moldings, lip, and sides at a junk yard for cheap! It would be more expensive to color match it down the road! Should have more pics tomorrow! Its supposed to be cold, but nice!

 

Washed my car in the below this cold midwest weather... Low 30's and being windy SUCKED! Snapped a few pictures to make it feel worth it to me though...

 

Don't listen to the haters, color matched lip and sides are sick!!! Makes it stick out from stock in a clean subtle kind of way. Love the last pic, are you guys getting hammered with snow now too since you just washed her up???

 

No snow here thank god! Just freezing cold! Its supposed to be clear for the next few days which is why I spent so much time cleaning it when it was so cold out!

I got some cash and a roof rack from whatgsr (mitchell). Still debating what I want to get for sure... but got a few things in mind

 

congrats on the wheel sale man!!!! Lucky seller is getting some sick *** wheels! You will be rolling in true BMX fashion with the rack. Gotta post pics with both whips.

 

Wow I wish I had the time, money, or patience to do that to my car, the outcome looks so good. I think once I graduate I need to get me a clean EJ1 and start from the ground up like you did. Love that roll bar.

The only thing that kind of catches my eye is the picture with the bumper fitment there is some gap next to headlight, perhaps you could put another bolt in there closer to the headlight and tighten it up, but I shouldn't be nitpicking it looks awesome.

For all those that see bandwidth exceded pictures, use firefox, open a new tab, go to the URL "about:config", should nag you about don't mess with stuff unless you know what your doing blah blah, filter "network.http.sendRefererHeader", double click change to "1"... Now all the photobucket images should show up, press shift+f5 to refresh if needed. Be sure to set it back to "2" when your done as all this does is make it so referrer headers are not sent on images which screws up some sites (you will get hot-linking errors).



Also pm me if you want I can host some images, but there are a million other places as well that don't have a problem with using more bandwidth.

Thanks for the props man. The roll bar will be getting pulled out soon for a weld in 6pt. I was sold the wrong one by somebody local, so it doesnt fit how it should/isnt as safe as it should be and probably wouldnt function as well as it is supposed to.

I am well aware of the bumper fitment too. I am going to fix it when I go for an alignment, because I have to pull the bumper off anyway to get on the rack at Honda. Not to mention it is cold as hell in the midwest right now...

For the pics, thanks for the heads up. As for hosting, thanks for the offer. I have 3 photobucket accounts and 1 flicker account as well. Most of my pics 'car build' pics are on one account on photobucket... which my bandwidth should be restored on the 8th. So everybody just hold on until then.
Kevin, so tempting... I just dont know if I want to do white again. I hate cleaning them daily to make it look fresh!
