Well I took the car for a drive today. I noticed acouple things wrong.
1.)Noise coming from rear wheels...sounds like brakes sticking.
2.)Throwing 1 code...(o2 sensor)
3.)Really hard to shift, either needs adjusted or new clutch
4.)Hard to steer
5.)Fan not coming on

That I think sums it up. Not really that bad I guess.
So today I removed the rear wheels to discover that it was a metal piece that really had no purpose that was rubbing into the back of the rims. So after removing them the problem was fixed.

As for the o2 sensor. I am not really that worried about it. That is pretty much last on my list. I mean I have never heard of it hurting anything.

The shifting is really getting on my nerves. I am going to try adjusting it tomorrow. I really dont know how though...I know you just twist the adjuster but I dont know which way to twist does what. If that doesnt fix it I will be getting a new clutch. Does anyone have any recommendations. I want somthing that works great for everyday driving.

Now for my steering...I think its where my front axles are bad. Well they are pretty much new but 1 of them are knocking. I called advance and they said they would replace them(lifetime warrenty). So I will probably just replace both of them.

As for my fan...I give up. I cannot figure out how to wire it up. I am just going to run it to a switch to where I can manually turn it on and off.

So I plan on trying to finish all that this weekend plus calling Honda to order me a new oil filter and see if they have any 10mm bolts laying around.

well, the o2 sensor wont reall casue problems jsut bad vgas milage and run your eCU in limp mode so you will have power lose, and maybe be a little sluggish,

i need to adjust my shifter also so if anyone knows i will also like to know which way to turn what haha,

and for the fan i couldnt figure it out but that wasnt really a worry bc i just wired my fans up to a a manual switch

Hmm. So I guess I need to be changing the o2 sensor!

As far as turning...I think turning the cable adjustor to the right would make it stiffer....only makes since.

I really didnt want to run my fan on a manual switch, but I guess thats the only method.
I guess I will run one wire to a ground while the other wire will be hooked up to the fuse box where the battery connects at. But I will run a switch inbetween those wires. I will just hide the switch somewhere. ORRRR I could hook it straight up without the switch to where it always runs....

Is it hard to use the shift **** or is the clutch pedal hard? If the pedal is too hard you would adjust the clutch as you've described...right/left I can never remember just fiddle with it and drive it and see which way works. If the **** is too hard to move around you've probably bolted up the linkage too tight. Your problem with the fan is most likely the relay or possibly the sensor on the back side of the block near the oil filter. My rad fan quit workin too so I just wired it up to a switch. You really only need to switch it on when your at idle, like at a light.

My clutch feels tight. I am thinking adjustment would help. The gear shifter doesnt feel tight but it is sometimes hard to get into a gear...mainly when I am downshifting. I am thinking this might be the clutch. The pervious owner said the clutch only had 5k miles on it, and a stage 2 clutch. I am thinking the clutch is just a cheap one or is already shot..idk.

As for the fan I have decieded to just run power straight to it. So my question is that I should be able to just wire it into directly into my main power wire from my battery right? Just have a switch to where I can turn it off and on....If I am incorrect please let me know.

Ok, Thanks...12V source being the battery.
As for the oil in the tranny I have yet to replace that.. So I guess I need to go with motor oil huh>?

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!
just got off the phone with my local Honda dealer....
I was checking about 2 items..
oil filter and 10mm bolts. He told me the list price on those items was 6.50 for the filter and .65 cents for the bolts. After talking to him awhile he quoted me
Filter----------------$5.00
10mm bolt------------.45 cents

I thought that was a good deal. I am thinking about ordering like 50 bolts..haha

Good to see you didn't completely forget about the car. I did an Si seat swap into my hatch as well. Seats where from a 91 Si hatch into my 89, and the weird thing is the passenger seat ends up being the drivers seat.

Not sure if you already finished wiring up the fan but I included a 15 amp fuse in my wiring for it. You should definitely put a switch on it, takes a long long time for the engine to warm up with the fan on.

Yea the seat really wasnt that hard to do. Just a pain to remove all the hog pins!

I think I have the fan figured out in my wiring. If it doesnt work then I am just going to run it to a switch. So I should probably put a inline fuse in the power wire? Good idea.

Tonight I am going to install my seat and my AC unit. Should be all I can really do till my ball joints come in.

Yea I know. It was kinda sad having to go to the archives to find my thread. Haha.

Thats awesome that you found a dx. I kinda have always wanted a bone stock dx to do a dual to multi swap to. Dont know why but I think it would be fun...

As for the body work...idk really its about the only thing I have left. The sad thing is I might have someone else spray it for me...haha. Just dont know if I have the time to do the bodywork.
