Ok I am not going to be able to remove the Lower ball joints. I have tried for a hour and have no luck. Guess I am going to be sending them off!

Well guys I got the ball joints out! Wasnt hard to do actually. Just used a big hammer and knocked em out. The new ones were pretty easy to knock in too! I have the passenger side done. Replaced the outer tie rod end, axle, upper control arm and lower ball joint. Cleaned everything up and I am now puting it all back together. Later this week will be the driver side

Having a problem with my driver side seat. I cannot get it to tighten up. If you lean againts the backrest it just falls down. I tried tightening the bolts on the side but it doesnt seem to help..has anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like it is something with the reclining mechanism. Take the cover off of that and inspect it. T's about all the info I can think of to give.

Yea I have taken everything apart. It seems to be the opposite side that is getting loose. The reclining mechanism is staying still... The only thing that is on the other side is a little black plastic piece that sits inbetween the metal to let it swivel. Mine is alittle bent in from over tightening. Thats the ONLY thing I can think of. I am going to work on it somemore today. I have acouple extra seats laying around and I should be able to find another piece to use.

Fixed the driver side seat. Drove the car around alittle...it didnt do to bad with the new axles and ball joints. Still rides alittle ruff though...thinking that my next installment to the car will be some new suspension setup!

Anybody have any recommendations? I am thinking about going with skunk2 full setup.

Still pretty pleased with the car. I found a drag strip not to far from the house so I wil be posting up my times soon!!!

I have done acouple other things to the car since I last posted...
Done a compression test, 120 all the way across. I dont know if thats low for a b18 or not. Primered the front fender, replaced the driver side seat, full car alignment, and also put the stock suspension back on. Thats all I can recall as of now..I have pictures of everything just to lazy to post..ha

When you did the compression test did you have the throttle body open? That actually sounds low, but I think the most important thing is that they are equal.
Did you ever make it to the track?
