Default First crx build

Im fifteen and i got my first car which happened to be an 89 crx si. I got the car for $600. it has 122,000 mi on it. It also has some severly rusted panels.

work done so far-
replaced alternator
replaced alternator belts
replaced left rear wheel cylinder
removed un-necesary air resonators
removed complete A/C system
diy short shifter
began stripping rear interior
began installing pioneer head unit
in the middle of replacing both doors- (passenger installed. drivers side ready but haven't had time.)
an the middle of painting da gsr wheels. ( gold with polished lip)


future plans-
replace front left fender
replacement panels for both quarter panels
install replacement rocker panels
buddy club spec 2 exhaust
aem short ram intake
possible mini-me swap(still debating)
skunk 2 full coilovers
re-sprayed frost white

those rims look like good 20 footers

Good god, you didn't get much of a crx with all that rust.

If you fix it, we must see.

looks good. Please go through with it and save another CRX.

You need to probably check the underside of the car and probably fix some spots under the car too.

Yes they are the North American 92 93 Acura GSR rims

I have the JDM XSI rims which are the same as the gsr but with Honda Center Caps

XSI rims FTW

yeah i first i used "Auto Strip" paint stripper. then cleaned the wheels, after that i sanded down the curb marks then cleaned again, then taped off, then primered, painted, and clear coated

pass side door on-

driver side door off-

Driver side door on-

fully removed A/C-

A/C harness-

wires on driver side that are gunna be tucked-


home made wire map-

started to clear up pass side to tuck some wires over there too-

stripped rear interior-


more to come tell me what you guys think...?

just a suspension update... not getting the skunk 2 full coilovers anymore. I'm getting full omni power coilovers with eg forks in a week or two.
