Don't believe it was mentioned, but when I blew the other motor, I sent the turbo out to Precision to have it rebuilt. While they did that, I exchanged the .63 housing for the .48.

This may help me, or it will hurt me as far as powerband goes. We will see. If I don't like the boost range, I can always swap it out and tweak the tune.

I'm an engineer. My plan was to build the car and have it complete and running before the baby came. That happened. The car ran Aug. of 2011. By Sept. it was smoking.

Baby came Feb 2012. So it's just been a matter of pulling the motor, having it rebuilt (thank god no other damage was done to the motor), put the motor back in, bolt all the same **** back on, and get it retuned.

Those steps are nearly done.

Car was STARTED end of Nov.

Idle was a little funky, and it had a touch of smoke...not sure if it was more vapor from the cold weather, or what.
Now I'm waiting on my tuner to come take a look at it, before it moves. Don't want to take any chances.

Once he adjusts it enough that I can drive it and break it in, it will be re-tuned in the spring.

Thanks all for following. I know, I know...I'm slow
