..I like the seat, my wife and my son LOVES the seat! sounds kind of horrible but, when we bought the seat for our son it was a gift from us to him so we kinda went broke and ended up dd with him on the left side and my wife in the rear seat of the rex for a few weeks before we got the 2008 FIT or Jazz. but out of all of his other baby seats, he loves this one the most, he'll instantly cry if i put him in any other one we have for the first minute or so.

It's one of those things were you have to keep test fitting the engine while you smash the rail until you've made enough clearance and it fits. The bigger the hammer the better, I used a 15lb sledge, or maybe it was a 10lb I forgot

i bought the biggest sledge lowes had and it was smooth sailing from there.
i didn't get to put the motor in yesterday but i'm getting the hoist today after i get off work (late!)

thanks! heres some updates!

this is where i'm at with my engine harness!

i the two sets of thermosensors and what not is confusing me...also, what the heck do i do with the odb0 o2 wires and dual zc exhaust cam sensor plug thing? anyways....

painted my "spoon yellow" (lol) valve cover to satin black and satin clear but it turned out a little to glossy for my taste...FAIL! MUST START OVER!

"...no officer, this IS the stock motor. look at the valve cover! you don't know!"

"...some cop thought that THIS was stock (at future meets )"

i wonder how long this will last....

little things left to do:

(will edit this list later today, gotta go to work!)

remove stubborn ripped off axle on DRIVER side.
create plug n play harness for alarm.
paint safety21 bars.
body work on hatch and mugen spoiler.
body work on front bumper.
create block of plates for tyc spoon replica mirrors.

to be continued....

when it's out ,duh! don't you already know that!? 11:00am until alter call here's another list i need to deal with...

timing belt issues; i've already changed out the water pump and did the auto to manual tensioner conversion. but i bought some no name jdm company timing belt and the teeth are overcrowding the waterpump gear (hopefully i just suck at belt replacing). so i'll need a second eye for that...

scavenge my yard for bolts to the iacv.

find out which ends to loop for the power steering rack. ( is there suppose to be three ends? )

oh, and what belt is everyone using for the alternator with the innovative relocator?

thanks for any and all help

Lol! So about 2 or maybe 3 lol. Perfect!

I'm using a d series alternator belt and alternator. I got big buckets full of honda bolts I will bring too. all sizes. 8,10,12,14,17, even some 19mm!

Also what waterpump did you get? Hopefully h22a cuz that's the one you need! I found this out the hardway! I got my old h22a waterpump too but you might want a brand spankin new one.

So your going to put the motor in with the BS still in place?
I took mine out and slid the crank pulley inwards a 1/2" and have only a small amount of clearance, I can't imagine it without removing the bs and moving the crank pulley.... Also when you got your H2B kit did you also get the spacer for the slave cly.?

clearance is covered via the 10lb sledge. i didn't get the spacer kit...what does it look like? i actually used two long bolts to see how the offset was and tested the clearance and the spacers i made for it works smooth.
