Just found this thread. Masterful fabrication on both the Jeep and CRX!!!

Love XJs. Wish the wife did too. Had a blue 2 door that I still miss.

I'm going to be towing the wagon with the wife's Jeep too.
Here's a quick pic I just took.

My 9 year project.

Not wheeling the Jeep much anymore.
Thinking about selling it to pay for racing the wagon.

I'll be happy with about 300-350whp on low boost (7-10psi). along with a race weight of about 1900lbs it should be fast as hell.

Some small yet major updates:

I finally welded up a bracket for my front tow hook I've had for a couple months:

I also received some new PCI spherical TA bearings from one of my sponsors (Special Projects Motorsports). I guess the new offset design allows tuning out any rear bumpsteer. I can now start rebuilding the rear end of the car! WOOT!

More to come soon.

Very interested to see how your manifold coating holds up to track use. Please post some info on oil temps too if you can.

I am very interested as well, knowing how horrible your experience was with yours. I'll have a vent in the hood right above the manifold though, so I hope that helps. I will definetly let you know on the oil temps as well.

Both of your builds are awesome. I can't wait to see both of the cars in final form.
