Boostwerks.com time attack CRX build
They're Konig Countersteers. I think it'd be safe to say that I'm the only person on the planet who has them on a Jeep lol.
Thanks guys!
It's been a while since I've updated this so here's some pics...
Finally took some pics of the oil cooler setup:
6x10" B&M cooler
Mocal oil adapter flange
10an nylon braided lines

Also here's a little better picture of my version of a "cold air intake." There wasn't enough room to put a coupler in there so I used a high temp rubber flex tube from Mcmaster. Worked like a charm. The filter then simply sits in front of the oil cooler. It's not exactly what I would want to do, but with the room I'm given to work with it will have to do.

On another note, here is my "fix" for blox's horrible CA bushings. I simply shaved down some energy's poly bushings and pressed them in. I had a full bushing kit left over from my old EF hatch so I figured I'd put them to use. I'm using an aluminum washer on the outside of the bushings to keep them compressed in the arm, which should result in a control arm that is compareable to one with sphericals, but still allows for some give.

I'll have more soon. I am getting my hands on a Tanabe rear sway bar before I complete the rear and move onto the cage.
Stay tuned!
Thanks guys!

Just ran across this thread and saw the XJ. I love it, Im a fan of XJ's and have a lifted one myself that I plan on using to tow my EG. Those wheels on the Jeep look so good!! And yes you probably are the only dude on planet earth with those wheels on an XJ.
i like the way the intercooler has the back door to the turbo..do the welding yourself ?
casue we got a crx at the shop that we have to use 90 degree elbows to barley make the clearance....clean build ..keep up the good work

No real updates on the car unfortunetly. I'm still trying to get all the work done on my XJ. So far, I recently built a crossmember, long arms, front bumper, and installed some frame stiffeners. I still need to install my heim link steering, build an over the axle track bar, and regear. It will then be ready to tow, and I can start the finish work on the car.
