Default what ecu to use? 94 gsr, skunk2 IM, JDM 4-1, JDM itr lsd tranny...

94 gsr with skunk2 intake manifold, jdm 4-1 header, lsd itr tranny.
should i go for jdm itr ecu with odb1 to odb2 converter? or should i go for stock or chip p28?
i am looking for both ecu to buy, so if you have them, lmk as well.

first, leave it obd1. ge a P28 and u can ither get it chipped or get the hondata. i would get the hondata because im sure you are not plannign on staying like practically stock for ever. im sure u would like to add some things to ur car when u start getting used to the power.

how does a stock gsr ecu compare to stock p28, which one give more hp?

with the mods you have, your better off with a p28 hondata tuned. you will feel a great difference compare running a stock ecu. with my set up i/h/e/msd external coil/blox im, believe it or not i netted 161.9 whp hondata tuned. ( i have dyno sheet just dont know how to post them.im an idiot when it comes to computer.

whats the reson for chiping a p28 ecu? will the ecu not work good on a gsr if its not chippet... Please help me i dont get it thanks

get a chipped p28 since you dont have the stock GSR mani anymore

Because a P28 is designed for a SOHC engine. without chipping it, there is no way to increase fuel delivery, change timing maps, vtec point, or rev limiter appropriately.

I got a chipped P28 on my B18C. The chip is from ihatericerz on this board and its a custom chip that he does for all motor B18C's with mild mods such as yours. It should work pretty well.
