Default Chipped P28

I have a JDM GSR wit:

AEM SRI
DC JDM 4-1
Car sound CAT
Apexi VAFC2.

I was looking into getting a Skunk2 IM as my next mod. I was thinking of swaping out my OBD1 for a chipped P28 for optimum peformance as i have heard. I will be later going wit CTR cams and JDM ITR Pistons. Right now im trying to get the most top end power out of my car as I can. Would a Skunk2 P28 benifit me?, im not looking for a high redline but i will just pretend its not there. I will of course put it on the dyno as always since its only 60 bucks round here.

only thing with running a 'chipped' ECU as opposed to Hondata is lack of capability to tune maps. A 'chipped' ECU's chip has to be continually removed and reburned over and over again in order to get the maps right and sometimes can not be changed at all. If you are planning on making mods to engine later, a Hondata system would be much more benificial as opposed to 'chipped' ECU which will be very limited or worthless with future mods as chip program would not match engine mods thus giving potentially poor results or worse, damage to engine due to incorrect mapping.

Just something to keep in mind...
