Not the best choice for anything past 12mm lift.

Im running the skunk2 pro 1's currently on full omnipower valvetrain, about 15 dyno pulls on them plus daily driving and theyve held up great. I re-checked valve lash a few weeks ago and they were right where i left them. Retainers looked great as well.

I have sold at least 50 sets of Omni valvetrain with absolutely NO BAD FEEDBACK EVER from All Motor Cars with Buddy CLub Spec 4s to turbo cars with 600whp
Edit:I will however say I have NEVER ONCE HAD PROBLEMS WITH SKUNK2 products either, I had Skunk2 Valvesprings and retainers in my turbo head for 4 years with no problems at all, made 616whp with them in a stock head as well. So thyat is my .02 on Skunk2.

Re: (WhoisDan)
I voted for REV because i have had nothing but luck with them to 9,600 rpms.
10,000 miles on a street motor and no retainer problems. The retainers and springs are "snap fit".

There are no JUN stuff in poll! Why? We use them lot. </TD></TR></TABLE>
fine then add them as a choice.

Re: THE VALVE TRAIN POLL (Rukusmasta2)
RM sp/ret has had a snap/interference fit with the retainer design from day 1. This avoided the mysterious wear problems that occurred to other brands that didn't have this design

nice, I purchased my REVs probably around the same time your product lines were emerging. This was also at the same time that everyone was making a fuss about the ti retainers wearing. I went with the REV because of the snap fit for the most part. I do not know which other combos do this aswell but its nice to know that others have found that the same method works!
It could be that a majority are snap fit, skunk 2's arent or werent at the time. I dont know about any others. Besides RM stuff now.

Ok. I have stood by long enough to keep my mouth shut.
How can you guys(yes, hinting towards Rocket and Omni) be bashing on the skunk stuff. Yeah, we all know their old stuff broke in some cases. But from what batches were the ones that broke? They were the old design; since then, they have redesigned their setups and I havent heard of a single situation where these have broken.
Rocket, sure your stuff has had the snap fit setup since day 1. But when was day 1? it wasnt that long ago. Stop hinting that you are so much better than them and so much smarter because you are current with today's technology. Your stuff is decent for its price, but its not anything special.
And Omni, how can you go out and put down the company who taught you EVERYTHING. Would you like to see posts everytwhere with people showing your products breaking? I mean, we all know of some products that have had some problems. All companies have problems. When you mass produce products and sell a mass quantity or parts, the account numbers will go up, but the percentage will stay the same.
Stop hating on the other companies or hinting towards them. I feel that you both need to keep more of a professional attitude in situations like this.

Re: (RPRacing)
I aint bashing nobody. The G1 springs cam out 3.5 years ago when everybody else's springs were loose fit. JG was the only other set I knew of that was interference fit.
And yes people didn't know WTF they are doing. But I was smart because I did my homework from reading my Gene Berg manuals from my air cooled VW days.
You don't think my stuff isn't special? Because Skunk does. Their new stuff is very similiar to my G2 springs.
How do you like that.
I have nothing against David Hsu. He is a very smart person and uses some of the best people in the industry. I know because I've run across and know the some of the same people that he deals with.
Also the first set of springs Skunk had were designed by Hans Herman of Eibach. To this day the Eibach valvesprings have HH on them for him. But his design was not the best from what I know.

Im not trying to start a pissing contest. I am only bringing to light (for everyone) some information for everyone to make a more informed opinion on products.
Everyone knows that some people only believe what they see on here and if they see 2 instances in one thread they will pass a judgement on a certain topic. thats how many people do all or the majority of their research. sad but true fact

Don't really know how to add to the poll. But By far the best is FAREEA the only reason most won't vote is because they can't afoard it. About three companies on the poll are the same ****. FARREA all the way .
