If my car didn't run right, I would try and get it tuned. Maybe you should try getting it tuned and see what happens?

wtf, you guys are retarded. getting it tuned? that's now the answer for everything? and let it warm up sure, but it shouldn't bog, even if its cold. any CELs? fitv or another type of valve comes to mind.

So you're saying that it's retarded to get your car tuned up when it doesn't run right? Is this the new "wisdom" that wishes to prevail on HT? good luck with that..

Getting your car tuned/tuned-up includes a number of things like:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by hotrod99 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">could be a number of things...when the last time you changed plugs,wires,cap and rotor?</TD></TR></TABLE>

and checking ignition timing etc...

The general rule of thumb is that you always start with the basics and go from there.

and if that dont work THEN you go on honda-tech and ask questions...because anyone could just sit here all day and list off **** that could be wrong if your not really specific on what exactly the car is doing or how its acting.soooo like 00Red_SiR said do the basics then come back if your completely stumped.

With all that stuff, the answer is simple. BAD TUNE. Probably only done at WOT. No tranitional tuning.

^^^^

wonders never cease to amaze......you don't have a real tune and your flooring it???!!!!! sounds to me like thats your problem, id be upset if it ran like that coming back from a paid tuner.......thats not the case here though. Good luck with the build either way.

ninja edit: heard bad things about the ignition your running too.

There you go, the answer lies in your response. As mentioned, get it TUNED properly..

You’re running CTR pistons on a car that’s untuned and you’re complaining about how it runs?

Can’t wait for the “I’ve blown my motor/compression test results low…what gives?” thread…
