Default Stripped main stud b18c help

I installed arp. main studs but on the last one it stripped, one of the girdle ones, helicoils wont be strong enough. so I'm not sure what to do:/, I have arp rod bolts(had rods resized, the caps are very very hard to get on or off, have to rubber mallet them on and off. kinda feels too tight but that's what the machine shop did so I guess it's right) anyways I have arp head studs, flywheel bolts, pressure plate littetallyy everything arp, it's an all.motor setup with ferrea road racing cams, roller rockers, ctr rep pistons, jdm gsr rods sI the bottom end needs to be strong enough so I really doubt a helicoIL would hold so hope someone's got some advise just really don't want to buy another block this one's fresh home standard core low kms

Have you thought of using a Time-Sert? Perhaps they use the same thread pitch and size as those that you replace.

Call to see what? If they know how to use a Time-Sert, or if they come available in the same size as the Stud needed for the girdle?

On the second question you can find that out yourself. You'd find out faster than the machine shop. The question you'd as the machine shop is whether or not they'd be willing to do it. If they're willing to do a Helicoil (or know how), then they should be able to do a Time-Sert.
