should be just as good as the stock b18c rod bolts.
stock b18c bolts work fine.

Anything your head can handle. A properly balanced bottom end will not limit your RPMs. Something lighter than ITR rods would be better.

For the $30 investment required I would take ARP in a heartbeat.

30 + cost to recondition the rods once you install them.
I would only use them with non vtec rods.

So what do you think?A stock ITR goes to 8500...Do you think the ARPs are a little better and they can handle 9000??

Now it has good side rod clearence and balanced and polished crank...and reconditions rods and ARP rod bolts...Do you think its ok to goto 9000k sometimes??Thats my question....

Thanks
Ross

ITR rods with ARP bolts can handle 9000 rpm easily. I 'd bet they could take 10K. I have them on my B16a rods and have hit well over 9K with no adverse effects. You will need the 9mm arp rod bolts. I believe I paid 50 for the bolts and 20 to install them.

when installing the bolts you have to press them in. when doing so the rod bearing area sometimes doesnt stay perfectly tru and distorts some. so you have to machine it to make it perfect again, this way you dont have bearing fitting problems or damage to the crank/rods/bearings/whatever in the future.
